This Privacy Policy explains how Teleprompter Kft. ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the LaTeX Editor (TeX Pro) mobile application (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We designed the App to minimize data collection. The categories of information involved are:

• Documents and content you create: All LaTeX documents, files, and projects you create or edit are stored locally on your device. We do not have access to these files unless you choose to share them.
• iCloud sync (optional): If you enable iCloud syncing, your documents are stored in your personal iCloud account. We do not have access to this data. iCloud is managed by Apple under Apple's privacy policy.
• Diagnostic and usage data: With your permission via iOS settings, Apple may share anonymous crash reports and usage statistics with us to help improve the App.
• Purchase information: In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple. We receive only the confirmation needed to unlock purchased features. We do not see your payment details.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect your name, email address, location, contacts, photos, or any personally identifiable information through the App. We do not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking technologies.

3. How We Use Information

Any limited information we receive is used solely to:

• Operate, maintain, and improve the App.
• Diagnose technical problems and fix bugs.
• Validate purchases and provide access to paid features.
• Respond to support requests you send to us.

4. Third-Party Services

The App may use the following third-party services that operate under their own privacy policies:

• Apple iCloud — for optional document syncing.
• Apple App Store — for distribution, purchases, and subscriptions.

If you choose to export documents to external services (such as email, AirDrop, or cloud storage), those services will handle your data under their own terms.

5. Data Retention

Because your documents stay on your device or in your own iCloud, you control retention. Uninstalling the App removes locally stored data. iCloud data can be managed through your iCloud settings.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is suitable for users of all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

7. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect any information processed by the App. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights under data protection laws (such as the GDPR in the EU), including the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
